Two and a half hours from Paris, in the Pas de Calais region, on the Opal Coast bordering the English Channel, the seaside resort of Le Touquet Paris-Plage was born in 1882 from the idea of creating a sporty and very "select" holiday destination.
Over the years, the "Pearl of the Opal Coast" has managed to preserve all its charm and a quality of life that make it a very popular seaside resort today. A European resort for all four seasons, elegant and dynamic, it is also sporty and cultural.
It welcomes you and offers numerous events and activities throughout the year. Renowned for the variety and number of its exceptional sports facilities, Le Touquet is a true "sports paradise", whether you are a beginner or an experienced golfer, a fan of tennis, sailing, sand yachting, horse riding, canoeing, field hockey, polo, beach volleyball, catamaran sailing... There is something for everyone! On the nature side, created in 1855 on 800 hectares of dunes, the century-old forest of maritime pines, poplars and alders that borders the town offers a unique contact with nature and invites you to walk its marked trails.
On the heritage side, Le Touquet is not to be outdone, the resort has an important architectural heritage in Anglo-Norman style and can boast of having around twenty buildings listed in the inventory of Historic Monuments.
Alongside elegant villas, the racecourse stands, the Town Hall and the covered market are the main witnesses of the sumptuous era of the Roaring Twenties.

Touquet golf club
Inaugurated in 1904, the 18-hole course "La Forêt" (5827 m PAR 71), designed by architect Horace Hutchinson, is located in the heart of the magnificent pine forest of Le Touquet.
The second 18-hole course (6330 m, PAR 72) designed by architect Harry Colt and inaugurated in 1931, named "La Mer" is a true Scottish-style "Links" that has hosted the French Open several times. It is laid out through the sublime wild dunes of the Coast.
Finally, a 9-hole course (2816 m, PAR 35) created in 1994 is ideal for players wishing to learn or improve their game.
Touquet equestrian park
The vast equestrian center is open all year round and is one of the most beautiful structures dedicated to horse riding in France.
Created in 1971, it has 2 indoor riding arenas and many other facilities in a vast park of some 65 hectares which also includes two competition grounds with a paddock and the racecourse where flat, obstacle and steeplechase races take place.
Its riding school offers many and varied types of activities: from Baby-pony for the awakening of the very young to federal exams and competition.

The tennis courts of le touquet
With 33 courts, Les Tennis du Touquet is open year-round and is one of the finest facilities dedicated to horse riding in France. It has 25 clay courts, 8 indoor courts, and a center court that can seat 900 people.
Its tennis school offers private and group lessons, Mini-Tennis, a Junior Club, and a Competition Center. Training courses are also organized throughout the year and are supervised by qualified instructors and teachers for young people and adults, from beginners to those ranked second.
Sixteen tournaments are also held there throughout the year, including two major ones: the Junior Davis Cup and the Women's Open.

Between dunes and the sea, discover the incredible sensations of sand yachting in the vast, fine sand of Le Touquet beach.
This discipline can be practiced from the age of 8, and is accessible to all. The team of qualified instructors at this school offers sessions adapted to each level to help you discover the joys of piloting.
Lessons are adapted to the level and wishes of the trainees. 5-day courses are also organized for young people (under 12) and adults throughout the year.

Sailing in le touquet
The sailing school at the Touquet nautical center offers courses, as well as tidal, day, two- or three-day outings on Raid Croisière Edel Cat 28 catamarans.
From April to October, windsurfers, dinghies, sport catamarans, kayaks, canoes, fun boats, swordfish, ludics, and Edel 28s can be rented for 1 hour, 2 hours, or at the tide.
Whether you own a windsurf board, a dinghy, a sport catamaran, a motorboat, or a sailing cruiser, the nautical center can accommodate you.

The caddy express
Le Touquet Paris-Plage offers a shuttle service from Thursday to Monday. It can accommodate 8 passengers at a time and facilitates travel between Etaples-Le Touquet train station and Le Touquet-Paris-Plage resort.
Reservations can only be made online (by clicking on the "Discover" button) or at the Tourist Office.
